Who We Are

Employing Athletes is the online career center for student-athletes.  Launched in 2008, Employing Athletes caters to the career development of student-athletes by helping them translate the student-athlete experience onto resumes, in interviews, and throughout the community of those that support our Mission.

What We Do 

Employing Athletes provides student-athletes with career tips, professional guidance, and job matches.  From insight on how to compose a resume to money management tips to emailing job opportunities, we make student-athletes feel as comfortable as possible as they progress along their career development so that they can secure a job.  Equally important, we offer some insight into the post-athlete life and help them acclimate to their new life ahead.  Our newly-released Cafe Hire job-matching service allows student-athletes to be paired to positions and employers who understand the value of what sports teach.

How We Do It

Securing a job IS a full-time job.  There are many former student-athletes who wish they knew then, what they know now.  Employing Athletes connects with former athletes and other professionals who are experts in their field and passes along that information to student-athlete job seekers.  Additionally, with the Cafe Hire job-matching service, not only do we provide career education, but now we assist student-athletes in searching for a mutually compatible position and employer.  Thus, we serve as another full-time Coach/Advisor to the many coaches and advisors student-athletes have always relied on.
